Nancy. “Captivating”: a play of light and emotion, the new sound and light show at Place Stanislas creates a surprise

Monuments and grand effects go hand in hand. Proposals combining sound, lighting, and heritage are multiplying throughout the department. Toul, Lunéville—and even Fléville this year—are putting on their own show. And after three somewhat sulky years, the people of Nancy are finally getting back into their mapping at Place Stan.
So no, there's no story, no voiceover, no return to the past. No, we won't experience the poetic yet discreetly narrative magic of Les Allumeurs d'Images, who were in charge of Nancy's video mapping until 2021. But this time, finally, we're taking off again.
This time, finally, we can tell that the stone walls are pulsing as the images appear. This time, the summer spectacle is reincarnated.
